The Young Artists Orchestra (YAO) is a fully instrumented high orchestra primarily for
younger students through grade 9 who have at least one (1) year of instrumental music
instruction. Auditions are scheduled several times a year.

The season general consists of five (5) concerts each season, sometimes in collaboration
with the Oklahoma Youth Symphony/Wind Symphony.
Conductor
Scott Jackson, Director of the Stillwater Public Schools Orchestra Program, is originally from Enid, Oklahoma where he began studying the cello with Daphne Dougherty in 6th grade. |
